About the Workshop
The 2009 Pingree Park Dynamical Systems Workshop will be held at the Pingree Park Campus of Colorado State University, CO on the dates August 3-8, 2009. This workshop will have two main foci within dynamical systems - orbit equivalence and descriptive set theory. This meeting follows a smaller, but similar meeting in the summer of 2008 at the same location. The conference is limited to 40 participants, a number limited by the size of the facility we plan to use. The meeting will be similar to the 2008 Pingree Park meeting in subject matter and format. The schedule will include regular daily talks, with large blocks of time allocated for discussion and development of collaborative work. Junior researchers (graduate students and postdocs) and members of underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to participate. Please contact one of the organizers if you are interested in attending. The workshop has received NSF support, so some travel funds will be available. Requests for travel funding should be made to the organizers. |
