Kyle Pula

I am a PhD student in the mathematics department at the University of Denver. I work in the areas of Algebra and Combinatorics under Petr Vojtechovsky (with a non-trivial amount of help from Michael Kinyon). From June 20th to August 16th of 2009, I will be conducting research in Melbourne, Australia as an NSF-EAPSI fellow. I will return to Australia from September 2009 to August 2010 as a Fulbright scholar.

Research - more about my research

In broad terms, my research focuses on the interplay between algebra and combinatorics. In particular, I study Latin squares and their algebraic equivalent, loops and quasigroups.

Teaching - more about my teaching

As an educator, I try to impart and nurture an appreciation for both the beauty and utility of mathematics; not to mention the integral of arcsin.
