The University of Denver, the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain region, enrolls 5,100 undergraduate and 5,700 graduate students.

The Department of Mathematics offers undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics. For more information see sections Prospective Students and Degrees & Majors.

We have an active faculty of accomplished researchers and teachers. We are particularly strong in functional analysis, dynamical systems, quantum structures, algebra, combinatorics and logic. See the Research section for more.
