Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics

September 2001

Requirements

A minimum of 45 quarter hours of MATH courses at the 1000 level or higher, including:

MATH 1951,2,3 or MATH 1961,2,3     Calculus or Honors Calculus series
MATH 2060 Elements of Linear Algebra
MATH 2080 Calculus of Several Variables
An approved 3000-level course in analysis [e.g. MATH 3161 or MATH 3851]
An approved 3000- level course in algebra [e.g. MATH 3151 or MATH 3170]

Note: MATH 1750 cannot be used for major credit.

A student who intends to obtain a BA in Mathematics must satisfy all the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree as outlined in the University of Denver Undergraduate Bulletin.
