Foundations: The following foundation requirements may be taken in any order, except that the foreign language requirement (FOLA) is a one year sequence in a foreign language, and these sequences begin in the fall.
Minors: Minor 1 and Minor 2 stand for minors which typically require 5 courses each. BS requires two minors.
Electives: You must complete electives so that you reach the required total number of credits (183 credits) and satisfy the upper division requirement (at least 75 credits must be taken at the 2000 level or above.)
Core: Three CORE classes are required, one each from the three themes:
Study abroad: Students studying abroad can get elective credits for courses taken abroad. Satisfaction of all other university requirements needs prior approval (viz form). Students may take a maximum of 1 course total from AHUM, SOCS, or CREX, and a maximum of 2 CORE classes while abroad. The writing intensive CORE class cannot be taken abroad.
